This is a painting using inktense pencils and FW Inks, this is my first fish and I realize it is unusual. I painted the tail fin to be big because i wanted this fish to be an Angel fish...but did not have any references for it....so it is Not like real fish yet......so this is from my heart.

Swimming Through Life

Like the little fish looking into the swirling water, the seaweed, the coral, trying to be sure of which path to take, in order to find its way. This fish would be sitting on the fence so to speak, but...when its courage is up...he will take charge and swim away.

    How many of us are sitting at the precipace of understanding, knowing that something is beckoning us to change, to move forward and yet...holding on to what feels secure or comfortable. If we stay where we are in life, that is our choice, the old will remain, we will continue to swim in circles...never ending cycle of feeling you are in a rut. You will experience a dullness after a time and may wonder if this is all there is?

    If we open our hearts and mind to expand beyond our self- perceived limitations new ideas will start to form and we will be gently guided along the path to discover something new about ourselves. This idea becomes energised and we become Inspired with so much power, we start to manifest our dream. For some people who are just starting to believe in their ideas, they may have a wispy kind of notion...but as they focus on this new thought they may feel inspired and motivated to take the next step. We then formulate a plan in order to continue with this idea, and as we swim thru our thoughts, we allow change to occur, and thus move into one of the swirls of life that had been beckoning to us...and we allow the change to happen.

    WE swim through our life and we discover new adventures to engage in, to create from our hearts, bringing the joy and sparkle in to our world! Each new idea we engage in brings more learning, wisdom, and success.
